Headquartered in Los Angeles, Paramount Network is an American cable television channel owned by Paramount Media Networks. The channel, which began broadcasting on March 7, 1983, was originally a partnership between WSM Radio and Westinghouse Broadcasting Company. 

Yellowstone, one of Paramount Network's only major successes in scripted programming, quickly became the channel's flagship series and spawned several spin-offs on Paramount +, the streaming service owned by its parent company, Paramount Worldwide. Its original programming, which included country music, racing coverage (such as NASCAR) and so on, catered very much to Southern American culture. In 2020 and 2021, Paramount Network cancelled many original series or moved them to other Paramount worldwide networks.By January 2022, due to the impact of COVID-19 and the success of the Yellowstone franchise, these plans had been canceled, leaving it and Spike to retain Bar Rescue as the channel's only original premieres. The channel also airs a limited engagement of a new Paramount original series produced by Yellowstone co-founder Taylor Sheridan ( Taylor Sheridan ), with Yellowstone as the guide.
