Truecaller had released a call reminder feature that when another Truecaller user calls you, a notification pops up before the call is answered or rings. Now, Truecaller will not only announce the caller, but also the reason for the call. The reason selector applies to all outgoing calls between a Truecaller user and another user. Consumers can set three key reasons for outgoing calls. Reasons can be selected, edited, customized and added, or even skipped, prior to any call.

The popular Truecaller is introducing a new feature that will indicate to the user the reason for the incoming call. The reason for the call will help the recipient get more information about why the caller wants to be contacted. It will notify consumers in advance so they can make an informed decision about whether to accept or reject the call.

 

Truecaller also introduced some upcoming business features. The company will offer the ability to set reasons for calls for priority customers and verified businesses. The feature will also be available to businesses that use cloud telephony services. Along with this announcement, Truecaller also announced several SMS features - SMS scheduling and SMS translation. The latter will support 59 languages and will work offline locally on the device.
