Adobe was founded in December 1982 by John Warnock and Charles Gershke, both of whom had previously worked at Xerox's Palo Alto Research Center and left to form Adobe and make the PostScript page description language commercially available. The company's name "Adobe" is derived from the Odobie Creek in Los Altos, California, which is not far from the company's original office in Montineville, California. The main products in Adobe are Adobe Creative Cloud, Adobe Experience Cloud, and Adobe Creative Cloud Express.
