A U.S. television company called DISH Network Corporation is the owner of Sling TV and live satellite service Dish. Dish also provides a wireless mobile service called Dish Wireless. Dish purchased Boost Mobile's prepaid service on July 1, 2020, and it plans to later add postpaid services. In Douglas County, Colorado, the business employs around 16,000 people. In June 2011, Joseph Clayton took over as president and CEO while Charlie Ergen remained as chairman. Ergen took up that function when Clayton retired on March 31, 2015, and held that position till then. Ergen stated that the firm would place a high premium on diversifying and modernizing its technology and that it anticipates providing Internet, video, and phone services for both home and mobile applications over the next ten years. Ergen announced his resignation and was succeeded by Erik Carlson in a statement released by DISH Network in December 2017.
