The Xfinity Stream app for Apple TV 4K and Apple TV HD has been made available by Comcast, the biggest cable provider in the country, giving Xfinity TV subscribers another way to access subscription content, including all live, on-demand, and DVR (digital video recording) programming, from the comfort of their own homes. Users of Xfinity may use AirPlay to share and broadcast entertainment content from the XfinityStream app to AppleTV4K. (such as live news and sports, on-demand movies and shows, and DVR recordings). Of course, if you have Comcast and other AirPlay-enabled devices, you can stream and share shows through the app. This was overlooked when the Xfinity Stream was first made available for AppleTV devices in June, an omission that was addressed more than six months later.

"We are still committed to giving our XfinityTV consumers more options and freedom. We're giving them more ways to watch programs in their homes and outdoors by adding AirPlay features to the Xfinity Stream." In other events, Comcast began 2023 with an intriguing offering called "Free This Week," which promises to bring Xfinity users with fresh free material each week from a variety of prominent streaming services and pay networks. The agreement has no strings attached and will be accessible beginning in January 2023. Comcast said this week that Xfinity subscribers on X1 and Flex will get free access. This week, the Xfinity Stream and Xumo's XClassTV will also provide a variety of free programming. Simply say "Free This Week" into your voice remote to access content via Free This Week. Instead of only accessing what's now available, you may also view content that will be released in the next weeks.
